The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 595 - 595 "Are you upset with me?"

She nodded her head frantically before saying, “And dage you can give me that t-shirt.”

“Well not right now. He will give it to you later,” said Zi Han before looking at Yi Chen and asking, “Ready to go?”

Yi Chen couldn’t gauge whether this person was upset or not. He was smiling happily but Yi Chen felt ill at ease. “Let’s go,” he said reaching for Zi Han’s hand before interlocking their fingers with his fiery gaze on Akito as though letting him know that if he dared step into his territory he was a dead man.

Zi Han smiled at all of them before saying, “It was nice meeting you. I am not a fan but my sister in law likes you so I support you.”

The manager who had let this play out for so long finally stepped out and asked for a favour. “Well, your highness since that’s the case then would you take a picture with the group members for promotional pur-purposes,” he said only to stammer on the last word because Yi Chen was glowering at him. Damn, who needed bodyguards when you have a fiance as scary as him? Zi Han didn’t need anyone to protect him, his fiance was enough. Well, that is until the bad guys discover how terrifying Zi Han was.

Zi Han opened his mouth and said, “Uh,” while Yi Chen gave a straightforward answer,

“NO!” before pulling him away.

Ming Ming who hadn’t thought about a picture just now felt stupid. She tried to free herself and ask for one but her big brother was already in a terrible mood.

.....

Zi Han could see that Ming Ming really wanted to go so he turned to look at the man wanting to convince him to let her go but the man’s face looked very ugly. Ming Ming looked to her sister in law for help and Zi Han gestured for her to not worry about it.

As soon as they got out of the elevator, Yi Chen took off the t-shirt that was making him feel very uncomfortable and said to Ming Ming, “Here, don’t ask me to do that again. Now go ahead and we will follow later,” while tossing it to her face.

Ming Ming smiled happily before running off like she had been granted amnesty. As soon as she was gone Yi Chen turned to Zi Han and saw that he was naked. His upper body was as bare as the day he was born.

Instead of asking on Ming Ming’s behalf to get a picture with her favourite boy group, he found himself dazzled to the point that his mind was muddled.

“You...,” said Yi Chen only to follow Zi Han’s gaze. He intentionally or unintentionally flexed his pectoral muscles before saying, “My eyes are up here, baby.”

Zi Han, “...”

“Yes, yes... I can see that,” he said before pulling off his hoodie. “Here, wear this. I know you are hot but I don’t want others to see it.”

Yi Chen didn’t refuse his kind gesture. In fact, he showed a slight smile and as he put it on he said, “I don’t even know why you were wearing one. It’s not that cold.”

“Hey, I descended from the legendary phoenix. I love the heat. You on the other hand must be from a polar bear. You have been walking around with a short sleeve t-shirt like a bodybuilder,” replied Zi Han when he saw that Yi Chen’s head was stuck in his hoodie.

Zi Han chuckled as he helped him pull it down and when Yi Chen’s head popped out he took a deep breath before saying, “I almost suffocated. Your hoodie is so small.”

Zi Han flicked his forehead before saying, “Call me small again and you will be lonely in the bridal chamber.”

Yi Chen, “....”

He held Zi Han’s waist and pulled him close trying to coax him. With the tip of his nose buried in the croak of Zi Han’s neck, he mumbled,

“I was wrong,” while his hands were rubbing his waist sensually.

“Hmm... it tickles. Stop...,” said Zi Han while trying to get away from him. In his voice was something off so Yi Chen raised his head and asked, “Are you upset with me?”

Zi Han, “...”

“Where on my face is it written upset? I am not upset,” replied Zi Han wondering where this question was coming from.

“Really? I thought you would be mad about the whole t-shirt signing thing,” he said while rubbing his lover’s cheek with his thumb.

“No, I am not upset about that. Baby, what do you take me for? I can’t get mad over something small,” said Zi Han while fixing his hoodie for him.

Yi Chen lowered his head with a flash of disappointment in his eyes. Why? Well, it was because he liked it a little when Zi Han was jealous which was a rare occurrence. He thought Zi Han would be a little upset but it seemed everything was dandy.

“Oh,” he said his fingers slipping underneath the hem of Zi Han’s clothes.

Zi Han held his hand stopping him from going underneath his clothes while saying, “Why don’t you let Ming Ming take a picture with the Kao boy group members? She would cherish it forever.”

He was trying to coax his husband into letting his sister in law take a picture. Yi Chen pursed his lips restraining himself but in the end, he couldn’t help but say it.

“Wha-what do you think about them?” he asked Zi Han with his fingers twirling around the hem of Zi Han’s clothes.

“They can sing... and dance but that’s about it,” said Zi Han not even sure why this question was directed at him. Shouldn’t he be asking Ming Ming what she thought.

“I can sing and dance too,” replied Yi Chen and Zi Han finally recognized the sourness lingering in Yi Chen’s voice.

“They have nice makeup. Not too feminine and not too masculine. I also like their hair cuts, especially on the curly-haired one. What’s his name again,” said Zi Han intentionally poking the beehive.
