The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 294

“For the sake of our families I think it would be a great idea to have lunch together...,” she said her gorgeous curls bouncing as she turned around to call someone over. Her stiletto nails sparkled reflecting the sunlight from the floor to ceiling windows as she raised her finger.

“Yua, no.... uh,” sighed Ikeda Crest after failing to stop her.

She curled her fingers under her chin as a waiter walked over and bowed slightly before her. “Can we have a bottle of Blichen Rouge and Urie Doux,” she said mentioning very expensive wine bottles before turning to Zi Han, “You do drink, right? Or maybe it’s a little too early for you to drink?”

Yi Chen who couldn’t stand someone speaking to Zi Han like that clenched his fist about to reprimand her but Zi Han held his hand under the table with a sincere smile like he was truly unaffected by her.

“I don’t have a problem with it... though I think you will need it more than I do,” he replied with a sinister aura accumulating around him.

Ikeda Yua was about to retort when Zi Han glanced in Yi Chen’s direction. When their gazes met there was an insummable surge of electrical sparks between them making everyone around them very very uncomfortable.

Zi Han glimpsed at Yi Chen’s lips his body subconsciously leaning forward like he truly intended to kiss those lips. But just as one thought they would kiss Zi Han showed a small shy smile before averting his gaze.

Yi Chen who had been drawn into this blissful moment was leaning in close as well his eyelids half opened while darting an enchanted gaze at those plump lips.

.....

He was so enthralled that he even bit his lower lip lightly his face smitten. One can only imagine his face after Zi Han averted his gaze. He cleared his throat loudly while squeezing Zi Han’s hand underneath the table. The message was clear.

He was letting him know that he will pay him back tenfold for this teasing. He picked up the glass bottle on the table and poured out some water before placing it in front of Zi Han. Zi Han who wasn’t thirsty looked at him briefly only for Yi Chen to directly drink the rest of the water in the glass bottle.

Ikeda Crest knew this was a bad idea from the start but seeing his sister’s reaction he thought this might be good for her. She can finally see that Yi Chen was truly uninterested. Zi Han was right, she most definitely needed wine more than he did.

“Can we also have some Genee Clairet,” said Ikeda Crest to the waiter who at this point was trying to act like he had selective vision. These folks were ordering expensive liquor ten times the amount he earned in a month so hell yes, he was going to act blind.

Ikeda Yua was crestfallen when she saw their interactions. The amount of sourness stuck in her throat made it so hard to breathe. She just wanted to get up and slap the smile off Zi Han’s face and push him away so she could take his place.

Who could blame her? The way that man was tilting his head back slightly while downing an entire bottle of water with his adam’s apple rolling had her feeling quite thirsty. It was like a scene out of an erotic film unfolding right in front of her.

She could even imagine him pressing her down on the table and tearing her clothes off while kissing her fiercely. Okay, now she needed a bottle of water too.

Zi Han was also imagining the same thing the only difference being that Yi Chen could actually do that to him if he asked. Zi Han was sitting with his legs crossed and his elbow resting on the table propping his head as he leered at Yi Chen’s moving adam’s apple from the side.

Yi Chen felt the side of his face and ear heat up from being stared at by this lecher. He lowered the glass bottle and gave it to Zi Han asking, “Do you want some?”

Zi Han did. His throat was as dry as the Gobi desert thus he took it from him. Zi Han licked his lips before tilting his head slightly and tipping the glass bottle to drink.

Unlike Yi Chen who unintentionally seduced people, Zi Han was deliberate. He drank a little too fast that some of the water flowed down his chin sliding down past the ripe hickey on his neck to his collarbone before disappearing underneath his T-shirt.

It was basically game over for Yi Chen when Zi Han tugged at his collar like he was feeling hot and was fanning himself.

It was then Ikeda Yua’s imagination shattered to pieces. Besides the fact that these two were twinning with the same t-shirt, Zi Han had a fresh hickey on his neck which had obviously been done in the past hour or so.

Ikeda Yua gritted her teeth on the verge of exploding. If it weren’t for the waiter coming over with the bottles of wine she might have crawled over the table and rubbed that hickey off his neck. She didn’t even pay attention to the waiter showing the bottle of wine to her.

She just tapped her glass with her nails her action obvious. She was asking him to fill it up. The waiter complied and filled it up. Sip after sip Ikeda Yua kept watching the two with a glimmer of jealousy in her eyes.

Ikeda Crest felt so awkward being here but since he couldn’t leave his sister alone he had to make odd small talk to ease the tension.

“So yesterday’s event... hem... any, any ideas who did it?” asked Ikeda Crest his gaze unintentionally wandering around Zi Han’s clavicle peeking from underneath his t-shirt from when he tugged it earlier. Yi Chen who had his hand behind Zi Han’s back happened to see this and his warm eyes just now turned fierce as he glowered at him as though asking him what he was looking at.

Ikeda Crest felt an evil glare directed at him. He picked up his glass of wine and glanced in that direction as he took a sip.

He wasn’t expecting to be met by Yi Chen demon-like eyes fiercely glaring at him like he was a dead man. Ikeda Yua choked on his wine and began to cough while patting his chest.
