Almighty Summoner System

Chapter 211 - Tria

What kind of Beast should I contract as my fourth?

This question lingered in Ban\'s mind for a couple of minutes while staring at the Giant Red Dragonfly which was still in its normal form.

For all of his current Summons, including the Unknown Egg, he did not plan on contracting them at first. To be exact, he doesn\'t have any plan regarding what type of Beast he wanted to contract. He just went with the flow and followed what the System suggested to him.

In fact, it was only the Rogue Red Termite\'s case that he contracted it on his own volition. Of course, his intention was not to make it as a summon but to make their battle at that time easier.

Anyways, after pondering clearly about it, if he was able to, Ban wanted to search a Beast that he liked as his fourth summon.

As of the moment, he already has Eva who was a combat-type beast, the dragonfly as his mount or steed or a logistic-type beast and it could also fight according to the System as long as it became stronger.

From what he knew, there were a lot of types of Monsters and Beast, depending on their uses.

Combat and Logistic-type was just one of them.

There was also the support-type which doesn\'t actually fight but supports the combat-type that was fighting in the front. At the moment, Ban lacked this kind of Beast.

There was also the tank-type Monster, or those Monsters that have high defense and would not die easily during combat. In Ban\'s understanding, this kind of Beasts was always at the front, receiving all the attacks that the enemy had thrown at them. Such an example of this monster was the Rock Yeti of that muscular customer from the Kuys Bar that he saw before.

There were also those Monsters who specialized in assasination, ambush, poisons and other types that he would surely meet in the future.

He only knew superficial knowledge about them, but with the Book of Techniques on his possession as well as the System who can inject the information inside the Book of Techniques towards his brain in an instant, the problem regarding now knowing any information of a Beast or a Monster was not a problem for him at all.

This time Ban thought carefully. If he was given the chance, what kind of Beast should he contract?

\'Forget it, there\'s no use rushing things…\'

The Unknown Egg\'s type was still also unknown at the moment. He decided to contract his fourth one after the Unknown Egg hatches, that is, if nothing came up midway.

He wanted to see what kind or type of Beast the Unknown Egg first before deciding with his fourth summon.

Ban tossed the matter at the back of his head as he refocused his gaze on the bluish dragonfly that has not moved ever since the moment he summoned it from the Beast Tattoo earlier.

Right now, Ban was under a cave. He covered the entrance whole earlier and the only light that illuminated the cave at the moment was only a single glowing stone. However, that single glowing stone was enough to illuminate the cave.

"Come here!" Ban raised his right hand in the air and beckoned for the dragonfly to perch on it.

The Giant Red Dragonfly, the moment he heard his instructions, instantly flapped its wings almost instantly.

And with a buzz, it disappeared from the ground and with lightning speed, arrived above Ban\'s hand.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

It was already perching on Ban\'s hand, yet he felt no mass coming from it. The reason for that was simple. Even though all of its six legs had landed on his hands, its wings at the moment were actually flapping at extreme speed that if one did not observe carefully, they would only think that the wings were stationary at the moment.

A smile surfaced on Ban\'s face as he saw that scene.

\'As expected..\'

According to the System, the Dragonfly race was the race regarded as the fastest flyers among all insects. They can flap, and of course travel at extreme speed which would normally be not attainable by other insects.

That was also one of the reasons why the System suggested for him to contract it as his flying mount.

Ban was satisfied by its performance and he could not wait to experience its speed first hand.

After observing, and the System\'s confirmation, he came to know that the dragonfly was actually a female. No wonder it was slightly smaller than what he expected from how big its egg was.

Ban thought for a moment and decided to name her as Tria. No particular reason. Just like the time when he named Eva, the first name that came into his mind was what he named them.

Eva was satisfied with her name back then, and seeing the reaction of the dragonfly, it seemed to like its name a lot too.

It even circled around Ban for a few rounds in a matter of seconds before it \'perched\' on his hand again as if nothing had happened.

However, due to their connection, Ban was able to tell that Tria was quite excited and curious of her surroundings at the moment. She was like a child that has come to an ice cream shop for the first time.

She was looking at Ban with her big round eyes that were full of curiosity. She was wondering what was the role of the person that was now in front of her. Was it just a Summoner? Or was there something more? Her father, perhaps?

After Tria settled on his hands once again, Ban introduced himself and then Eva who was quietly observing the new member from her head all the way to the end of her abdomen.

Seeing her wings that flapped at extreme speed, Eva also transformed into her combat form, before comparing her wings to Tria.

She also flapped it as hard as she could but she still lost to Tria speed by a huge margin.

Eva frowned but did not lose hope.

She flew closer towards Tria and observed her red and black wings more thoroughly. She compared them to her wings again, and after seeing the difference, she finally returned to Ban\'s shoulder with a smile on her face.

Although her wings did not flap as fast as Tria, hers was more beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

And for Eva, that was already enough.
