The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 16

Professor Kyle’s house couldn’t be called a house at all.

It should be called a mansion!

Or even a castle for exaggeration.

The courtyard itself was really big with beautiful bush, flowers, and trees arrangements. There was also a fountain with beautiful decoration.

Behind it was an elegant style mansion with three stories. The wall was painted in warm cream color and looked very pleasant to look at.

Well, Kate was not good at judging house’s design.

.....

But she knew one thing.

Only rich people could possibly live here.

‘Why did he become a temporary professor if he already lives in this kind of place? Not to mention, he had graduated from overseas university for experience.’

Kate didn’t understand.

The car stopped in front of the house and Kyle opened the door. He turned around and stretched his hand, picking Kate up and carried her with one hand.

Kate: “...”

Is cat’s kitten normally this small?

Kate really wanted to open her phone and searched for more information online to find out whether normal kittens were usually this small? Just how young is this kitten that Kyle choose?

She was in a complicated mood.

“Don’t run around.” Kyle put Kate on the sofa and Kate plopped there. After a few hours, she could at least control her limbs. It might not be the best movement of a cat, but it was better than walking a few steps then fell.

Kate stretched her head and saw Kyle took out phone and made a phone call. He put the phone on the table while he took of his coat, allowing whoever on the other side to speak through the speaker.

“Kyle! You finally call! We tried to reach you a few times but we didn’t manage to call you.”

“Are you sure that you’re worrying about me and not worrying whether you’ll not have information?” Kyle mocked. He put his coat on the hanger and then loosen his tie slightly to make himself more comfortable.

“Well, anyway, we’ll go to your place when we can. It’s a bit hectic here.”

“Oh?”

“Also, both me and Dylan awakened new abilities! We’ll show you tomorrow or maybe two days from now!”

Thwack!

There was a loud sound of fighting from the other side. It seemed as if something or someone was smacking towards the wall and there was a loud voice.

Kate’s eyebrows twitched.

Did these guys really call when they were fighting?

Are they not worried that they will die because of carelessness?

For some reason, Kate felt that the friends of Kyle were also extraordinary just like this guy. However, she chose to stay silent and just act as an obedient little cat.

“They’re trying to exclude our families from knowing. I’m afraid it wouldn’t be easy for us to get out of this city.”

“Huh, Dylan also said the same not long ago.”

“You should know, Jake... People at our position always have a lot of problems.” Kyle’s eyes turned cold.

“Indeed....”

Thud!

The sound of fighting turned even tenser.

“If you’re busy, do your job first. We’ll leave this city when there’s a chance.”

“Got it.”

With the current situation, the city’s gate would definitely be closed. There was no way that the people inside would be allowed to get out.

And no one would want to get out at this time.

With so many animals mutated strangely, they would be courting death if they tried to get out.

Kyle cut off the call and put the phone away. He looked at Kate. “It’s almost time for dinner. Let’s eat, Little Kitty.”

“Meow.”

Kate did feel hungry, so she simply walked towards Kyle and he picked her up.
